Now, before you think there’s something dodgy I can tell that this approach it totally legit. The strategy is to find high traffic expired domains that are already getting traffic in a niche you want, register them and make money from the traffic links that someone else built for you! The traffic source in this case is YouTube videos!
1. Find high traffic expired domains on YouTube
Every single day there are many domains that expire. Majority of those are linked to from high visibility YouTube videos. The YouTube channel is active and the video is still getting views. So viewers will link on that link only to find out that the link is expired. This is your change to capitalize on that traffic.
So how do you find these videos with expired domain links in the description ?

I use a software called Video Traffic Genie. I can enter a keyword in the video traffic genie search bar and find related videos which have expired.

Look at how many views the video is getting. Not only that video in the particular channel you might find more videos that have the same links. So you get loads of more traffic from the other videos as well. Not only that, there might be some other backlinks to that website. For example, it could be old articles that have linked to this expired domain.
So look at those and figure out what you want to go with.
2. Buy the domain
It’s upto you on how much you want to spend on this domain. You can get a domain for about $10 from GoDaddy. In the video above I showed that I am able to cover the cost of the domain and make a profit with just one sale. Which brings to the next step.
3. Find a profitable affiliate product
The monetization approach I use is affiliate marketing. So I will cover that here. If you want you can use other way to make money from the site.
Choosing the right affiliate product is very important. I have created a video on that before, so I won’t go into details here.
4. Start making money
Once you have the product setup a page or blog to promote the affiliate product. Given that the website already has traffic you should see visitors coming to the site from day one. Test various heading, button colors etc to see which will make people click and increase your affiliate sales.
