My YouTube channel just past 10000 YouTube subscribers. A few months ago, I had around 600 YouTube subscribers. So I know how to get YouTube subscribers fast and in this blog post I break down the exact steps I used to promote my YouTube channel to the right audience and get free YouTube subscribers daily.

How to Get YouTube Subscribers FAST (STEPS)

STEP 1: Find Forums related to your YouTube channel niche to get YouTube subscribers fast

Ask yourself, what are other online mediums where your ideal YouTube subscriber hangs out. Basically, you need to find viewers who are interested in your YouTube channel niche. So where do you find those people ?

A good place to start is to go to google and type, your niche followed by forum. For example, if you have a gaming YouTube channel about fornight, just type fortnight forum and you will see plenty of forums where you can interact with people who are interested in your niche and then also share your YouTube videos on these forums. The trick here is to not spam but to engage in the community and provide value.

For this channel I mainly used Quora and Facebook groups. Given that I create a lot of Tutorial videos I search for questions and provided videos as part of the answer. The video below shows my tips and tricks to promote YouTube videos on Quora to get YouTube subscribers fast to your channel.

Apart from quora, I joined several Facebook groups related to my YouTube channel and promoted the videos I created. I used Pilot Poster to automatically post to various groups which saved loads of time. I was able to post the same video to multiple groups at different times and even set a repeat posts without getting banned.

STEP 2: Create More Videos that turn viewers into subscribers

I was able to get over 1000 free YouTube subscribers from one video with this method. There is a strategy you need to follow to get free YouTube subscribers daily with this method.

Find your highest converting YouTube Video 

Often, about 80% of your YouTube Channel subscribers will be from about 20% of your videos. So you need to find which type of videos are getting your channel the most amount of YouTube Subscribers. You can find that by looking at YouTube analytics.

Go to YouTube Studio
Click on Analytics, on the left hand side.
then click on the subscribers tab on the right
then click on the “See More”

As you see, the first video video has gotten this channel over 2000 YouTube subscribers. 

Create more videos around similar topics video to get YouTube subscribers fast

So I created a similar video around the same topic. The number of YouTube subscribers that video got is indicated in the green bar in the above diagram. That video has got around 70k views so far and was able to get nearly 1000 YouTube subscribers to this channel. THIS STRATEGY WORKS. You need to take action and implement it today.

STEP 3: Increase video thumbnail click through rate

There are 2 important factors that the YouTube algorithm looks at when showing your video in search results or in suggested videos. That’s the click through rate and audience retention.

If you want to get YouTube subscribers fast, Click Through Rate(CTR) is one of the top metrics to focus on.  YouTube video click through rate is the number of people who click on your video thumbnail when they see it appear on YouTube.

To find your channel’s CTR
Go to YouTube Studio
Click on Analytics, on the left hand side.
then click on the Reach tab

To improve your CTR, you can use a tool like Thumbnail Blaster to test which thumbnail is better. Often, you might wonder if another version of a thumbnail might give your video more views. With Thumbnail Blaster you can try out 2 different thumbnails for a given video and see which ones is best. 
On average a click through rate above 5 is good but you need to also look at the audience retention together.

STEP 4: Increase Audience Retention

Audience retention is a measurement of how much of your video people watch. The YouTube algorithm likes it when people watch more of your video and will promote those videos with high audience retention. 
The Engagement tab of YouTube Analytics shows you how much of your videos your viewers are watching. It also shows you when viewers stop watching.

Your goals with every video you create should be to get the audience retention close to 100%.

STEP 5: Get your video on the first page of YouTube

Another thing that has helped this channel get over 10000 YouTube subscribers fast is getting videos on the first page of YouTube search for specific keywords.  For example, if I type site to promote YouTube videos in incognito mode you see my video is number one and has over 70 thousand views. 

Likewise there are many other videos on this channel that are on the first page of YouTube. Most of the views I get to this channel is from YouTube search.

One of the key success factors in getting your video on the first page of YouTube is to find keywords that have low competition but has high search volume. Finding keywords that fit this criteria can be difficult, if you don’t know how to find such keywords.
